Åre is a beautiful town in Sweden which offers most outdoor activities. Paragliding, white water rafting, rock climbing and downhill mountain biking are all available to you during the summer.
Winter offers dog sledding, snowshoe hiking and skiing on cross country trails, backcountry or alpine skiing in Sweden’s best ski system.
The lodge has many returning groups that have fallen in love with it and it’s surroundings. The Swedish Scouts mountain courses are also available in winter and summer.
Mullfjällsstationen has no staff, so when you rent the lodge you take care of yourself during the stay.
It has 30 beds divided over 8 rooms, with 2-6 beds in each room. The large kitchen is fully equipped for a group of up to 30 people and is linked to a spacious dining room which looks out onto the mountains.
After a day out in the mountains you can relax in the shared sauna, with attached changing rooms equipped with showers, while your wet clothing dries in the drying room.
The easiest ways to get to Mullfjällsstationen as a international guest:
• Fly to Norway, Trondheim international airport and take the train to Sweden, to the town Duved.
• Fly to Sweden, Stockholm Arland international airport and take the train to the town Duved.
• Fly to Sweden, Åre Östersund national airport and take transfer, (taxi, flight transfer or train to the town Duved.
From Duved to the Mullfjällsstationen you have a 3km walk.
During the summer can you drive up to the station but during winter it is only accessible by skiing or by snowmobile.
